In this insightful one-hour session, Jenny Smith explores the practical and emerging applications of artificial intelligence (AI) within the realm of telehealth. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how AI is currently being integrated into virtual care delivery, including its role in diagnostics, administrative efficiencies, and clinician support. The presentation also highlights real-world examples and case studies, demonstrating how AI is enhancing the provider-patient experience and reducing provider burnout.

In addition, Dr. Tearsanee Davis will lead a comprehensive overview of the UMMC Center for Telehealth’s Center of Excellence (COE) Bootcamp. Designed to cultivate leadership and expertise in telehealth program development, this immersive training experience supports healthcare professionals in implementing scalable, high-quality virtual care solutions. The session will cover the structure, objectives, and outcomes of the bootcamp, while sharing insights from past participants and outlining how this initiative supports the broader mission of telehealth advancement in both rural and urban communities.
